Hot ..... May Nights?

Here I sit in my room,
wondering why I deserve this doom.
Why at this time of night,
do wonderful, peaceful sleep I fight?
Why is it that I am still awake?
Is not sleeping a piece of cake?
You may wonder what causes me,
to lay here in horrid agony.
The things that make me feel this way,
are two issues that have pledged me all day.
The Lord has blessed us with wonderfully warm weather,
that gives me symptoms that are a torment both separate and together.
With one I cough, sneeze and feel like I am in a fog.
with the other I feel like I am in a humid bog.
So yes, my poor dear blog followers,
and even some of my fellow issue wallowers.
If you too suffer from sweats and sneezes,

I soon hope different weather pleases.

If you couldn't understand from my poetry above, it is about 2 in the morning and I can't sleep. It is so hot here! And along with that I am being plagued by allergies. I must say on the bright side my room has cooled down from 92 degrees down to 87. But, sadly there is little air movement outside and so the three fans I have going, don't pull in as much of a refreshing breeze as I wish.

Now, I don't want you all to think that I am hating this weather all together. It does bring the opportunity to use the swimming pool without getting pneumonia which is what we at the Schuller house did most of today. However, it makes trying to sleep just awful. Not only am I on my third box of tissues and feel so hot, there are these little brown bugs that get into everything! And, I just found out that they bite! Well, hopefully, but doubtfully, I can turn the AC on in my room tomorrow, they say it is going to be 104+, I can't wait. :-P
Now, don't you all wish you can be in sunny CA?
