Poco a poco

Poco a poco (little by little) the seasons are changing.... and I LOVE IT! Finally it looks as if my cool weather is here to stay. So, to celebrate Ashley and I carved our pumpkins last night.

As usual I was trying to be more elaborate in how I carved my pumpkin. I was trying to not actually carve all the way through.

It worked, but the rest of what I carved didn't fit as well with it.

Ashley, on the other hand decided to find a pattern and follow it. maybe I should have.....

The final results.... well, kind of....the final results of the side s I liked.

Hope all your pumpkins turn out spooky great how you want them to!

The music of blog land

I am learning so much about the world of blogs. I always thought this was just something that people used to update far away family members and friends on the ins and outs of their lives. For example, take a look at this blogger. She is so awesome! She is the reason that our house is in shambles right now. Shambles in a good way. I have been driving my sister nuts with the organizing and de-cluttering. But it has been worth it! I have gotten rid of so much that I didn't need. I have also come to realize that there is a lot of stuff that I have wasted money on because I was not organized. So, if you like to decorate or if you need a good kick in the pants to get organized go read her blog and get inspired!

Laughter in the Leaves

Fall is finally here! (Hopefully for good). Most of the day yesterday I was a bit sad because I was stuck inside at work answering strange phone calls. (a totally different story about a demon possessed wife) and not able to go outside and enjoy the beautiful (and I mean beautiful) weather.
Well, I finally got off job #1 for the day and was wondering if I felt sick enough to call off for job #2 how to spend my time until I left for job #2. As I pulled into my driveway I noticed my neighbor and her daughter were outside doing what I had been wanting to all day. Seeing this made me want to call in sick even more, but, I decided to suck it up and enjoy the little time I did have.  As you can see the antics of a 20 month old ended up calling for an impromptu photo shoot. It just made for a great time.

The above photo was my doing, she actually let it stay there for about a min. before she took it off.

Hope you all can get a little time to get out and laugh and enjoy the beautiful changing of the seasons!
