Always B♮

Sometimes B# (sharp), Never B (flat), Always B(natural). This is the title of a group I joined on Facebook. I thought it was a neat saying and wanted to share it with you. Also, this post is about things that are . Not just in general, but in my life.

So, my last post was a quick blurb about a group of singers called Straight No Chaser. I am telling you that they are a must see!!!!! I first heard about them during Christmas time on the news. I liked what I heard and a few days later I loaded two of their Christmas songs to my
itunes. I didn't look into any of their other music and I wish now, that I had.

They have such awesome harmonization. Well, about a month before their concert my Aunt, who just fell in love with their non-Christmas music found out that they were going to give a concert in the area. Well, my aunt, my sister, and I all decided to go. It was so much fun! Not only is their musical technique ...... wow! They have so much energy and stage presence.

The group is composed of former members, mostly original members, of a college group called. "Indiana University's Straight No Chaser". They got back together after being discovered on Youtube. If you ever get the chance to see them, do so.

Well, As you might have noticed it has been awhile since my last post. The SNC concert is not the only reason that i was delayed in posting. My cousin got married and so lots of family came into town. So, Ashley in her fear of looking like a pauper decided we needed to decorate the house a little bit. You know, fill up the main room a little. And let me tell you that is one big room to fill. Anyway, we decided that after we went to a few places here in the area, we were going to make a trip to the Ikea store in Sacramento. Here are some of our few finds.

For those of you who have been to our new place, you know it is in the older part of Ripon on a wide tree lined street that I just love! Sadly, not is all great with the house's local. For example being very near main street, and having the feeling that we are encompassed by a church parking lot. Now, the lot does not completely surround us, however, it is less than 5 ft from the one side of the house that our bedrooms are on. Most of the time it is not an issue, but when I wake up at 7am on a Saturday that I am not required to be up early, because the church decided to hold a garage sale, I am not pleased. And yet, the thought of a garage sale so close to my house was just something I could not pass up. And am I glad I didn't!!! I found this beauty for $10 bucks (well, after a bit of haggling) And what is even better is that i didn't have to paint it!!!!

As I said before, the week up to everyone arriving for the wedding was busy!! Some other things that went on were Ashley's birthday and the Ripon Christian high School's Pop's concert. This year's theme was 60's, and Braden had a solo. Sometimes it is hard to believe that my little brother is already in High school! It is also hard to believe that he has a girlfriend too.

Now here is what you all have been waiting for, the wedding photos! It was a fun day spending time with family.

Sunday my parent's had everyone over to their place for a BBQ and swimming. Now, even though it was a beautiful day, the water was a bit chilly for my taste, but the kids sure didn't mind!

Well that is all for now. Hope you enjoyed the photos. This is us!
